I've heard a lot of people around comment about how certain movies, like Brokeback Mountain or Crash, caused them to think deeply and differently about things...
I hope these same people will go to see Children of Men, slated for release near the end of September. Great book, sure to be thought provoking, and (if done well) will be exciting on the screen.

Why wouldn't people see this? I loved Brokeback Mountain, and I think this movie looks extremely interesting.
So, I'm not sure what your point is about making a correlation between people seeing other movies and this one. What do you mean?
